Terms & Conditions

Version Date: 1 January 2026

Overview

This website is operated by Jo Gibson Limited, registered office 26 Hydro Avenue, West Kirby, Wirral, England, CH48 3HR (“we”, “us”, “our”). Through this site we provide information about our courses, bespoke training and consultancy, together with free educational resources and our newsletter, Shoulder Steps Insider.

By using this website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply to everyone who uses the site, including browsers, newsletter subscribers and people who contact us. Please read them carefully before using the website. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We may update these Terms by posting changes on this page. Please check back from time to time. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept them.

Educational information, not medical advice

The content on this website, including our free resources, videos, podcasts and newsletters, is provided for education and general information for healthcare, exercise and performance professionals. It is not medical advice and does not replace an individual assessment of a patient or client. Clinicians remain responsible for their own clinical judgement and decisions.

We do not give personal medical advice through this website. If you are a member of the public with a shoulder problem, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

Courses and online learning

Course information on this site, including dates, venues, content and prices, is correct at the time of publication and may change.

Our in-person courses are booked through the course organisers named on each course listing, and our online course is provided through Clinical Edge. Your booking is a contract between you and the organiser or provider, and their terms apply to booking, payment, cancellation, refunds, transfers and attendance. We do not take course payments through this website and we are not responsible for the organisers’ own terms, services or decisions.

We update our course content from time to time to reflect current evidence and practice.

Bespoke training and consultancy

You can ask us about bespoke team training or consultancy and second opinions through the contact form or by email. An enquiry does not create a contract or a professional relationship. If we go ahead, we will agree the scope, fees and any further terms with you in writing before work begins.

Consultancy is professional input for clinicians and organisations. It supports, and does not replace, the responsibility of the treating clinician or team.

Newsletter and free resources

Signing up to Shoulder Steps Insider is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Free resources are provided for your own professional use. Please do not copy, share or sell them without our written permission. We will use your details as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, images, videos, course materials, names and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may view the site and print pages for your own personal, professional use. You may not reproduce, copy, sell, resell or exploit any part of the site or its content without our written permission.

Logos and names of other organisations belong to their owners.

Testimonials and organisations we have worked with

Testimonials on this site are the views of the individuals who gave them, and are published with their permission. They are not a guarantee of any result. Logos of organisations are shown to indicate where we have taught or worked, and do not mean that the organisation endorses this website.

Accuracy of information

We try to keep this website accurate and up to date, but we are not responsible if information on the site is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Research and practice change, so please check primary and current sources before relying on any material here to make decisions. Some content on the site is historical and is provided for reference only. We may change the content at any time and we have no obligation to update it.

Third party links and tools

This site links to third party websites, videos, podcasts, booking pages and tools that we do not own or control. We do not examine or evaluate them and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, services or policies. Any use of them is at your own risk, and you should read the relevant provider’s terms and privacy policy first. Complaints or questions about a third party’s services should go to that third party.

Messages and feedback you send us

We will use the messages you send us to reply to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve our services without any obligation to you. We will not publish your name or your message, including as a testimonial, without your permission. You agree that what you send us will be lawful, accurate and not abusive, and will not contain malicious code.

Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right or provision straight away, that does not mean we give it up.
